Why So Fuzzy?

dax m’coda says:
There was a study done in 1993 to see if drivers with fuzzy dice were more prone to accidents.
The result was no
Cliff says:
More prone to being douches
The result was yes

[ dax m'coda = I ]
[ Cliff = Cliff ]

I don’t like fuzzy dice. I don’t like things with dice on them at all, unless they’re related to the Las Vegas area, gambling, or games. Lucky for Minnesota, having things dangle from your rearview mirror is illegal, so their Tool On The Road percentage must be way below the national average.

I think I could have some sort of respect for fuzzy dice if there was a legitimate origin. According to Wikipedia, the origin is ‘unclear, but one theory holds that U.S. pilots in World War II used dice in their cockpits for good luck, and they continued the practice when they came home from the war.’

That sounds like a crock of shit.

Let me know when this gets real, in the meantime here’s a random bit to mull over the context of:

Do you run your hand through it?

I do. It’s soft as shit.

Clifford: RAGE!

I have this super awesome friend, Clifford. Srsly. One of the dankest people I know. He tokes like a madman and can pass a joint while having an intense conversation about Quantum Theory like no other. All of my close friends hate everyone they know, and Cliff is no exception. And he has the most severe rages. Ever.
Take a sample, why don’t you:

mmlxxxiv says:
Oh, god, can I rage for a second? I mean, I have been pouring out these things you have no concern for, but you seem to be at least pretending to tolerate it
Pesky meddling dacoda. says:
Go for it! I love when people rage
mmlxxxiv says:
FUCK
I hate this school
I’m ranked 3rd in my class
3RD!
The FUCK is that?!
Here’s my rant:

Pesky meddling dacoda. says:
I just said third out loud in a high voice out of shock!
go on

mmlxxxiv says:
Haha
The public school system bases academic intelligence on a grade system that’s generated by work
That’s an obvious point
You do work, you turn it in, it’s converted into grades and thus class rank
Unweighted grades, there’s about four in my class with 4.0 GPAs
Weighted, the fucking CUNTS that do extra-credit in the AP classes
allow two of them (not surprisingly enough the son of a teacher and the daughter of another teacher)
to be ahead of me
now
Put this into relative intelligence
I scored 2030 on my first round of SATs
Comparitively
The No. 1 guy
big, fat, farmer FUCK
scored like 1310

Pesky meddling dacoda. says:
whoaaa
mmlxxxiv says:
Class rank is supposed to reflect intelligence
yet
it doesn’t
The public school system doesn’t reward intelligence
It rewards diligence
diligence easily instilled by tyrannical teacher/parents
(they learn with Jesus)
That bit was a tad convoluted
my point is
Two people can get a 4.0 in a class
one person has to work hard to get that 4.0
the other person, with more innate intelligence allowing him/her to achieve the same amount with less effort, gets that 4.0 also
While everyone and their grandmother is going to pour OH HE/SHE WORKED HARD AND DESERVES TO BE HIGHER
No, he/she worked hard inside of a flawed system that rewards you for filling out paperwork
I tried to make that a point, it just kept going
Here’s it in one phrase:
Innate intelligence should be considered superior to achieved intelligence
Wow, Cliff’s an asshole
Yeah
But it’s sort of logical
Would you want the guy that knew exactly what he was doing to design your building?
Or the guy that had to work hard to pass basic structural engineering 101?

Nig has some major points. For sure.
(:
