Ride The Tiger

10 Things I Love, June 2010 Edition

1. Victoria’s Secret’s Semi-Annual Sale
I think anyone can appreciate this. Girls love the feeling associated with wearing cute underthings, that’s a no-brainer. And yeah yeah, guys couldn’t really care less what your bra looks like as long as it’s able to come off fast. But there must be a moment as he’s fumbling with your bra clasp that the thought occurs to him “Wow, this is probably the most cleverly patterned piece of intimate-wear that I have ever had the opportunity to remove from a gorgeous lady. And oh my, those panties!”

2. Brown Sugar And Vanilla scented things
Seriously.
I’m wearing such scented body spray as I type this.
I could devour myself right now.

3. Philip Seymour Hoffman
What with school being out and me having a ton of free time, I’ve been watching a lot of movies. Among these have been Cold Mountain, Pirate Radio, Almost Famous, Along Came Polly, and The Invention Of Lying. Guess what they have in common?
I would love to have lunch with Philip Seymour Hoffman. How has he won only one Oscar? How has he only been nominated three times?!

4. Chess
I spent part of my Sunday yesterday making note cards describing the properties of each piece, and then played game after game after game of Chess on my laptop. At approximately 1:00 a.m. early this morning, I won my first match. Chess is now my new favorite pastime.
And I just found this.

5. Yoga
I’ve been doing yoga at least twice a week for the past two months. My body longs for it if I go too long with out a sun salutation. You know how all those instructors tell you how you can feel the energy moving through your body and all that shit? It’s so true.

6. English Literature from the 1800′s
Even though I enjoy Jane Austen, I’m not talking about her. Right now I’m reading The Woman In White by Wilkie Collins. Some guy is named Percival. PERCIVAL.
This lady (the woman in white) Anne Catherick seeks a little help from a young drawing-master, Walter Hartright. After accompanying her to London in the middle of the night, Walter learns that she was formerly very closely connected with the family he is to be going to with his skills the following day. After they go their separate ways, Walter overhears a man in a carriage asking an officer if he’s seen a woman wearing all white, for a woman fitting this description has just escaped from his asylum.
I’m loving it, so much.

10. Star, Idaho… still
I’m going over again on Wednesday this week, and I’m excited for the refreshing air :3

Nikon will be attending this time!

I recently declared that Google Chrome was my favorite internet browser, but after this article, I’m a little discouraged.

I love Cracked.com
Do you?

I Heart Red Velvet Art

As mentioned in a previous post, I’m an avid follower of Elsie Flannigan’s blog. The lovely lady owns and operates Red Velvet Art with a few friends, an online shop with a gallery currently undergoing a transformation and relocation in Springfield, Missouri.

Check out these cute offerings and then head on over to the site for more and purchasing (:

Cute cute cute :3
Once again, go here!

And on a sidenote, the man behind my favorite web comic Questionable Content, Jeph Jacques, is making this into an apron and I am so excited:

Don’t get it? Read the comic, or cheat.

I’ll be in Boise all next week!

Hump Day Happiness

Besides (most likely) failing that Trigonometry test I took today, I’ve been wearing a smile. Why, you might ask? Because I:

Super Hit, Song Of India, and Aastha always tantalize the senses.

Read The Following Comic:
Girls With Slingshots, #424
This was an ‘Awhhhhhh :3′ moment, for sure. Danielle Corsetto’s web comic about a gaggle of luscious, quirky, and quick-witted ladies, their boys and some talking plants is so undeniably entertaining. My friend Karli suggested it to me months ago, and I just tripped over it again and I’m now in the long (yet hilarious) process of catching up. Jeph Jacques of Questionable Content has mentioned it before, so you know it must be good. Give it a read, yes?

Finally Uploaded Some New Photography

So go check it out and maybe leave some love? Link to my Deviant Art account is just to the left!
Isn’t Kate just so so so cute?!

Received The Best Compliment Ever
Someone left this on my Formspring:
“I’m a fan of your photography on DA, and I tend to read along your WordPress from time to time. I just wanted to let you know, you’ve been a big inspiration to me and I would like to thank you. So, thank you (:”
<3

And who else feels so comforted by the black man in the Allstate commercials? Because I totally am.
Oh! And I'm planning on getting into peacock mode for prom. I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but I'm a-plottin' and a-plannin' and I have high hopes (:

One month, five days to the big 1-8!
